Hawaiian Tiles are created by Artist Christianne Jones on the Big Island of Hawaii and Tracy Lamon On the island of Maui.
Christi Jones is a multi talented artist comfortable with watercolors, acrylics, charcoal, and clay. At one time she specialized in dog and horse portraits in pastel crayon but decided she preferred the three-dimensional feel of clay. She began producing her own tiles 10 years ago and continues to create colorful expressions of Hawaii's bounty in her designs. She has an extensive line of tiles, magnets and murals. She also enjoys designing and producing custom projects for homes and businesses. Hawaiian tile designs are carved in three dimensional motifs which adds depth and texture to the brilliant tropical colors and detailed designs.
Living on the big Island of Hawaii on the Hilo side, Christi works in her studio and fires her kiln on her property. This part of the island is remote and most people live simply with nature and create their own energy sources or"live off the grid". The rain forest provides water, which is collected and used by local residents. The volcano, Kilauea, is close and nourishes local springs with warm water providing hot ponds for afternoon dips. Christi's scenic tiles reflect her inspirations fro
m the Big Island as well as other islands in Hawaii. She can create a mural of any location. If you have a favorite spot, Christy can create a mural for you of that site just send her a photograph of the location.

Hawaiian Tile by Tracy Lamon available on Maui in August!!
Christi's sister Tracy Lamon will be adding her creative ideas to Hawaiian Tile.
Tracy's ceramic studio is in Haiku on the island of Maui. Tracy has been working on tiles with designs of Maui as well as expanding on some of Christi's Hawaiian designs. Hawaiian sea life, Hawaiian florals, and Maui scenes are some of the Hawaiian Tile designs you will sea at the Maui Crafts Guild located in Paia on Maui's north shore. Tracy will have her Hawaiian tile designs available sometime in August- September at the Maui Crafts Guild.

Tile Murals can be mounted in any tile project. Place your mural on your shower wall, kitchen back splash, swimming pool or spa, or mount on plywood and hang on your wall. Client's Custom Installation
This is a photo of how the grass shack can look installed. Photo sent to us by a Lanikai resident, Thank You E.K.!, who purchased the grass shack mural. The mural was mounted on plywood that was painted green, the grout was tinted with the green paint. The mural was mounted on an outside wall by a doorway..
